Happy Teacher's Day
I just woke up at 12 after sleeping for 17 hours. Man, I didn't break 20.
Yesterday we had ACES and Teacher's Day Celebrations in school. How high can you get when you're in a white PE shirt while all the rest are in colourful house T-shirts? Whatever man, where the hell is my house T-shirt. And yeah whatever you lose yours too. Thank you, Elyssa! You know what, she changed to her PE shirt to accompany me, how sweet! I'm not in white house, hahaha. It rained, so ACES was held in the cafeteria (hahaha, classy word for canteen). Half the time the people who were leading the ACES routine couldn't hear the music so they kept doing wrong actions and all it was so dumb. Went to the gallery for the celebrations, didn't really pay much attention to it. I sat in the middle of Elyssa and Ke Xin, both in deep sleep, hahaha. I was not that tired even though I slept at 5AM on that day, trying the re-write Qing Jing Wen which I didn't even write out of point but just that I didn't write from a student's point-of-view and made my composition seem like I'm making up a story. Compositions are about making up stories by the way. Finally the concert ended and we went back to class to get our bags and stuff.
Elyssa, Joan, Xin En and I went to go catch a movie at Shaw House. Yi-Lin couldn't join us 'cause she had to go meet her mother for lunch and bowling or something. Bowling, I haven't bowled before in my life. We all alighted at Far East, Yi-Lin left while the rest of us walked to Shaw House, we were not very familar with buses and it was hell squeezy. We were deciding what movie to watch. I wanted to watch Fast & Furious 'cause my sister said it was damn nice, plus I like the Tokyo Drift song she's been blasting since she watched the movie. It wasn't showing anymore so yeah. We were deciding over Akeelah & the Bee, Ghost Game, Lovewrecked and The Devil Wears Prada. In the end we bought tickets for The Devil Wears Prada. Akeelah & the Bee is another Black versus White thing, who haven't got enough of To Kill a Mockingbird and Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry? There are so many versions of Black discrimination man.

We had lunch at Lido since we had some time, commented a lot and went for the movie.

Hahaha, whatever. It was the first time I watched a movie at Lido, as far as I can remember. Um, we got the middle seats, real middle, just above the entrance/ exit. Hahaha, like I booked the theatre and all the others are guests. The movie was average I guess. It's so brand-y and stuff, I didn't like it much. But Anne Hathaway's really pretty. No, not Shakespeare's wife. Elyssa looked like a retard when she was watching the movie, Xin En kept saying that she had a headache watching the movie, er, I don't know what Joan felt about the whole movie 'cause we sat like, Elyssa, me, Xin En, Joan. Anyway, after the movie we went to the toilet, and Elyssa and Joan trapped Xin En and I in the handicap toilet. And then I laughed like hell, my bladder was gonna burst man.
After that we went to the Coffee Bean and sat there and continued our commentation. Couldn't find our way to the Starbucks opposite Shaw House and just nicely Coffee Bean was just in front of us so yeah. The mudpies looks so delicious so we got two to share :) Elyssa and I ate damn fast, we distracted Joan and Xin En and discreetly took portions of their mudpie. Why is a Mudpie called mudpie? It doesn't feel like mud, it doesn't taste like it should be mud, it doesn't look like mud. It's just total chocolate, sinful thing. I love taking pictures of good food.

We walked to Far East 'cause suddenly there were so many people at Coffee Bean. Why are we always the trendsetters, hahaha. Some were looking for seats so we decided not to occupy the seats when we've finished our cakes and the waiter cleared our plates even though there were still little bits of it left. We sat down outside KFC for a while and then Joan and Xin En went off while Elyssa and I shopped a while. Didn't buy anything but saw a transvestite, hahaha. We specially walked to and fro to catch his/her face. It's so obvious that he's/ she's a male. Broad shoulders, manly face, intimidating walking manner, too tall to be female. We took a bus to Dhoby Ghaut after some while. Elyssa left and I went to Plaza Singapura to meet my parents. Had noodles omelette for dinner, sucked big time. The last time I ate with Elyssa it was damn good. Um, went home after that and began my 17-hour sleep.
Anyway, on Wednesday I went for this Graffiti workshop at the Singapore Arts Museum.
I need to tell a story. The next two paragraphs are not neccessary for you to read, it's just for me to remember. Read if you have nothing better to do.
Last Tuesday TSM asked who were interested in a Graffiti workshop, and about fifteen people showed interest so she contacted the person-in-charge to organise a workshop. Then she asked those who are interested to go to her locker to get consent forms through the Yahoo! group. I didn't say I was interested so of course I didn't take the form. Then on Tuesday (this week) she asked how many people were going and only five were, the rest backed out. Then she started pissing herself off and scolded us and all that. I'm not even involved, thank you very much. She started asking us one by one why we weren't going. Then I was like, 'I am not interested and I didn't sign up to go for the workshop.'. Being not interested is my best excuse. Yeah, then she was like, 'But are you free?'. Ha, was she trying to make me feel guilty of something. Whatever, I was not guilty at all. Yeah, then she continued ranting, she won't organise workshops anymore, she felt that we sabotaged her 'cause the Graffiti person specially opened a workshop for 20 people and only five were going, she doesn't like our attitude, whatever. I-am-not-involved. Basically she just pissed herself real wet.
Then after that we had to fill this contributions thing. This record of what you have done for the club and stuff. You need to take part in two national or inter-national competitions and go for two art exhibitions per year. I had damn a lot of stuff to write, luckily I have a good memory. Actually I remember because I always blog. Blogging is cool, it makes you remember lots of stuff. Anyway, I think I was on my third piece of paper and I needed just one more activity to go to the fourth piece to make my record look damn long, so I decided to go for the workshop. I did the club a favour, I should be recorded for that man. TSM hugged us for volunteering to go when we didn't even sign up in the first place.
Back to the workshop. We didn't have a bus to fetch us or anything plus it was raining so we didn't take public transport. So TSM called three cabs to fetch us there. Abigail, Beatrice, me and WHW took the last cab, which came after more than an hour, miscommunication or something. The workshop started at 2.30PM and we reached there at 3.30PM. Yeah, and then the person-in-charge started talking bout Graffiti and everyone was asleep. The only thing that made me wake up was when he talked about Photoshop, how he made stencils. Had hands-on, didn't have enough time to complete my stencil 'cause the workshop had to end at 5.30PM.

I walked to the food court to meet my parents for dinner. It was raining damn heavily and I took the board which was the base for the cutting of the stencil with penknife to shelter myself. And then my drawing was soaked and oh my gawd it smudged and oh my gawd I can't use it anymore :( Cant be bothered to draw a new one and cut a new stencil.
Went out with Emily, Christel, Weihui and Weiyi today, can't be bothered to blog.
I was quite happy when we were having lunch/ tea at the Bugis Teenage Cafe or whatever but then after that I was damn sad because of a lot of reasons.
Oh, I love really bright and contrasted photographs though they're really yellow.

This 8-year old TYL is so cute, it performs for free!
Always look at the bright side of life, the September holidays are here! And, WAN EN GOT IN THE INTEGRATED PROGRAMME IN TEMASEK JUNIOR COLLEGE! No more letters from her through Weihui during tuition starting from next year but I'm really happy for her! She's going to study in TJC next year for six years straight, good luck in future!
